A short blog, but hopefully a top tip that many either don't know, or have never actually tried.


The Trusted Pillow!


That's right a simple pillow can solve many people back pain with this simple little back hack.


For people lying on their back when they sleep, using a pillow underneath their knees can be the difference between pain and no pain.


When we lie on our back we can end up over arching the lower back, and if we do this regularly every night, it can lead to back pain. Imagine tensing your lower back muscles for 8 hours, and wonder why it feels achy in the morning. Mhhm.


The muscles can over tighten leading to a pattern of pain that's hard to shift, this increased tension can be why small movements like putting your socks on can cause a spasms.


So the simple solution is to use a medium thickness pillow underneath the knees. You'll be surprised how much more relaxing it can be, not only improving the quality of your sleep, but also reducing those horrible back aches.
